Here is a picture of Big Mike Dowd on the border of New York and New Jersey during the Diet Coke MS 100 mile Bike Tour on September 6th and 7th, 1997.

Here is what Big Mike's new bike looks like. A 1997 Cannondale T-700. Which he bought January 13, 1998. The photo was taken from Cannondale website. The cost is $700.00 U.S. dollars at Diamond Cycle in Montclair, NJ.

Here is what Big Mike's awesome OLD bike look like. I've had this bike since August of 1990", said Mike. Mike had no really big problem. Just wear and tear that goes with things you use a lot. He rode this bike in every MS bike tour he did. He did about 10 thousand miles with the bike since 1990. The lucky troll is right on the front handlebar of his bike.

Anyone want to go down a steep hill. This was a warning sign to all bikers of a dangerous downhill coming up during the Diet Coke MS-100 Bike Tour on September 6th & 7th, 1997. Big Mike Dowd did 42 mile per hour down the hill in 1991. The fastest he ever gone.

Lunch time folks! (smile) Here is Big Mike at the lunch spot on the first day of the Diet Coke MS-100 Bike Tour on September 6th, 1997.

Here is a photo of Big Mike and Scott Wensworth standing in front of the fire truck at the Belleville Fire Department. Scott handed Mike a $150.00 U.S. check for the May 1997 bike tour. Thank you Scott and to the Fire Department.

This is Big Mike's awesome long time friend. Her name is Rachael. She came to see me for the third year in a row. Picture was taken at lunch in Stoke State Park in New Jersey just a bit off of route 206 on Sept. 7, 1997. Thanks Rachael for being that awesome long time friend. (smile)
